Lenny & team arranged all the transportation inside the country (from internal flights to ferries to multi-passenger cars) as well as all the tour guides and activities. He uses an app to organize all the information into one place and the team updates you with texts though-out the trip to help keep things on schedule. Those details made a world of difference in our enjoyment of the holiday, reduced our stress and allowed us to see several areas.

The team Lenny works with is top notch. The other family we traveled with had their luggage lost/delayed upon arrival to Thailand. Vanda at Expat worked closely with the airline and went to the airport at 1am to try and sort things out which helped us get the luggage a couple days later. Her dedication was phenomenal as was her communication during the whole holiday. Ma Lee was our Bangkok tour guide and was amazing with our children. So amazing that they talked about her the entire trip asking if she could join us in every location. Lenny arranged excellent tours throughout the trip including our food tour in Bangkok. Words… read more cannot describe how professional, informative and fantastic Lenny and his team were. My husband and I cannot fault our honeymoon at all, we had the best time of our lives with celebrating becoming newlyweds.

We got to experience Bangkok beautiful landmarks and enjoy all the street food it could offer. We travelled to the mountain side in Chiang Mai and got to have one and one time with elephants, tigers and travel on the river. Then we travelled to the tropical side in Phuket and got to embrace all the island it had to offer. We had private tour guides throughout our trip which made the experience so much more personal and fun. All tour guides were fun and super easy to get along with.

The team had organised everything so perfectly with tours that suited our personality, domestic flights, accommodation with that honeymoon touch and all transport and transfers. We did not stress one bit during our holiday because Expat Holiday had planned and organised everything for us.

From the start we worked with Lenny to… read more plan our honeymoon. He was very professional & helpful when planning our vacation. He helped make adjustments to the itinerary as many times as we needed, to make sure we were satisfied with our trip & staying within our budget.

We started our trip in Bangkok, then Krabi & ended in Phuket. The itinerary was setup perfectly. For example, Bangkok started with a city tour/transportation tour so we were able to learn the city & learn how to get around. Then we were comfortable using public transport the rest of our time there. Our tour guide Luck was amazing, she really made our day fun & was so sweet. She took plenty of pictures of us too! We also did a good tour in Bangkok & had the best experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun.

Our time in the islands was very relaxing. We went to an elephant sanctuary and a boat tour to Phi Phi. Both of those experiences were unforgettable. We really enjoyed both tours & the people who led them. Our Phi Phi island tour even made a special announcement about our honeymoon & ended the day with a sangria toast for us. They definitely made as feel special.

The best part about working with Expat is not having to worry about anything. Vandra was our point of contact during the trip & she checked in with us, sent us suggestions, communicated very promptly if I needed to get ahold of her. She even checked us in for flights & had the hotel deliver our tickets to our room. All of our transportation was booked by Exapt too, we were very impressed with all of our transfers. Everyone was prompt & nice comfortable cars/vans. It was so nice not to have to think of those little details. Lenny also had great suggestions on food/entertainment & other tips/tricks for our location we were in.

  THE PERFECT THAILAND ITINERARY – Lengthy review coming…Where do I even begin?!

First off, I must say my husband planned this trip to Thailand as a graduation gift. We have NEVER used a travel… read more agency before as we always just researched things ourselves and liked the freedom and liberty to do things how/when we wanted. If you are anything like us, DO NOT HESITATE and book with Expat Holidays Thailand. Your itinerary is completely customizable. Lenny worked closely with my husband to create the perfect 18 day itinerary. Lets be honest, I would have used this agency simply based on the fast track immigration feature alone, lol!

We traveled from Philadelphia. When we arrived to Bangkok we were greeted at the gate with a sign with our name on it and directed to fast track immigration and baggage claim. We were then directed to our private vehicle and transported to our hotel. Avani Riverside: Great location with one of kind views from the rooftop lounge!

Our first tour was the following day. We had opted for the private Floating Market Tour. Our tour guide was Keke, and my goodness was she amazing. She tailored the tour to our liking and confirmed our likes/dislikes. We wanted to try everything! And we did just that! We thoroughly enjoyed that the market consisted primary of locals rather than tourists. By the time we were done eating our way through the floating markets, our bellies were full! Keep in mind we did not have to worry about payment for goods as Keke took care of all of that. Talk about convenient.

Our next day we flew to Chang Mai. Keep in mind that Lenny/Vanda made sure that all domestic flight boarding passes were provided at the hotels reception desk prior to check out. Again… CONVENIENT. We arrived to Chang Mai and a private driver drove us to Chai Laid Elephant Sanctuary. THIS IS A MUST! 100% of the proceeds go towards the elephants! Keep in mind the temperatures here at night were in the 50’s (F). We had some of the best food in all of Thailand here at the Elephant Sanctuary. I can go on and on about how amazing the Elephant Sanctuary was but my words will not do it justice. If you have the time I would recommend booking their private photographer for morning breakfast with the elephants. Definitely a once in lifetime opportunity which would make for great photos.

The following day we drove back to Old Chang Mai. We stayed at Askara Heritage. The grounds are the definition of "Zen", beautiful room, and great cocktails. At night we explored the night markets and even caught a Muay Thai fight. In 2 days we were off to Krabi. Again boarding tickets were ready for us upon check out.

Once we arrived in Krabi, again a private driver was waiting for us to take us to our hotel, Tubkaak. This boutique resort was BREATHTAKING! The views of all the islands was one for the books. Not to mention the way they decorate the resort in the evening with all lights is magnificent. My husband will say that the best part of this hotel was the fact that he could feed the Koi fish every morning. The breakfast buffet here was also amazing. This resort was about 10 mins drive to local restaurants, and 25 mins to Krabi Town which the hotel provided a shuttle to and fro. In Krabi we opted for a private long tail boat. Our tour guide was Bella. Once again , also amazing (please see separate review). Highly recommend private tour as we personally saw tons and tons of long tail boats with people crammed like sardines. Also highly recommend night time snorkel to view the iridescent plankton.

Few days of free leisure, in which we opted for a hike at Khao Ngon Nak.

From Krabi we took a 3 hour drive to Phuket via private vehicle. I have a small bladder and the driver was kind enough to stop not once but twice for me to use the restroom! We arrived at our hotel, THE SHORE AT KATATHANI. AMAZING! The suite we reserved had us feeling like celebrities. HIGHLY recommend the plunge pool and floating breakfast! After we soaked up some sun and the glitz our room offered we had a private speed tour boat to the Phi Phi Islands. AGAIN absolutely amazing. (please see separate review). Our tour guide was Chris and he tailored the tour to everything we wanted, monkeys, fish, and plenty of pictures. I can’t praise them enough for the crew’s impeccable service,

Lenny/Vanda put together the most in depth/perfect itinerary custom to us, which we wanted several "free, leisure days". All drivers/transports were on smooth and on time. All payment to parks, islands, markets were all taken care of by the tour guides, which made our experience more enjoyable. All the leg work was done. We didn’t have to lift a finger, literally. Prior to our trip we were a bit anxious, and Lenny said "we do all the thinking, you just show up" and that statement could not have been more accurate. My husband and I just "showed up". We wanted a private photographer for our floating breakfasts, we contacted Vanda and she made a call. We wanted Sak Yant tattoos, we contacted Lenny/Vanda, and they made a call! They were literally at our fingertips and easily accessible. Prior to our trip they provided an in depth itinerary and offered suggestions and recommendations, which was greatly appreciated. Everything went so smoothly and exceeded our every expectation. If you’re on the fence about booking Expat, do YOURSELF a favor and BOOK THEM! They set the bar so high, we may never want to plan a trip ourselves again. I cannot thank Lenny/Vanda and the rest of the crew mentioned above, enough.
